Mostly every girls dream is to have beautiful long Rapunzel hair that they can whip around in slow motion...well, that's my dream anyway! So I decided to traul through the internet to find ways of dramatically increasing hair growth and found a few helpfull tips on youtube, blogs etc.
Here are the following tips that I put into action:
Do not brush your hair when it is wet.
When your hair is wet it is at its weakest so brushing it will cause your hair to break and pull, instead use a very wide tooth combe to gently comb your hair. Also do not towel dry your hair as the harsh friction from rubbing with also cause breaks in the hair.
Brush your hair every night before you go to bed for atleast 10 minutes.
I (and my boyfriend) gently brushed my hair every night before I went to bed consentrating on the scalp/roots as this stimulates the hair growth, opening up the hair follicles and improving growth.
Do not over wash your hair.
I wash my hair every 3 days but when I do wash my hair I shampoo it twice as the first time you shampoo your hair it only lifts of all the general dirt/product in your hair but the second time actually cleans your hair and scalp.
Inversion Method.
The inversion method involves using heated oil and cling film, I used this method for a few days straight when I had a few lazy days where I didn't need to be out then I did it at every night for a few weeks where I washed my hair every morning after doing the method, it was time consuming but it definitely worked! Look up "The Inversion Method" on YouTube and there will be plenty of tutorials and advice.
Avoid using a lot of heat and products.
Try not over curl/straighten/wave your hair using heat as this dramatically damages your hair, I would wash my hair then plait it whilst it dried naturally.
So they are all the tips I followed for a couple of months and my hair grew about 2 inches (see picture). I hope these tips were helpfull and if there are any questions I will try my best to answer them!
